Wheelchair Trails

I'm exploring Perth in a new way as an ambulatory wheelchair user:

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and have been struggling with chronic left foot and ankle pain since December 2022 (ruptured plantar fascia,  arthritis and a bone spur). So I've been using a combination of medical boot,  ankle straps,  custom orthotics,  crutches and now a wheelchair.

My rating system:

๐Ÿ’š great trail,  give it a go!

๐Ÿงก more challenging but still enjoyable.

❤️ strenuous and not recommended.

My wheelchair is a fairly standard store bought chair, not a custom chair:

and it handles these trails well. Here are the trails I've tried and recommend for other wheelchair users:

Lake Richmond - Rockingham (concrete/asphalt all the way around)

Lake Monger - Wembley (concrete/asphalt all the way around)

Lake Claremont  (concrete/asphalt all the way around)
