Stroll and Roll Heronwood Reserve

Today's Perth suburban wheelchair accessible path review is in Harrisdale.

Heronwood Reserve.
This was an excellent path there was one hill that could be a little difficult for a beginner to self propel up but I got up it independently after only 5 weeks using a wheelchair so it's not a huge hill.

The surface is concrete in good condition.  It does tend to slope towards the lake for drainage but not as badly as many other trails I've tried recently.
Overall I found it very enjoyable.  It was quite well shaded for about half the distance which is nice on a warm day.
Distance: 1km
Surface: concrete
Features: wetland with abundant paperback trees.
Parking: we parked on Heronwood Glade where there are a couple of parallel parking spots available right in front of the reserve.
