HMAS Warramunga Park Rockingham

Today I went to a lovely park in downtown Rockingham for a wheel around the lake!

I self propelled the entire distance around the lake:
This was a well maintained concrete path with one wood bridge,  it was a little bit hilly all the way around the lake but only a few sections were noticeably sloped for drainage so it was a very enjoyable roll I could manage independently.  However I doubt I could've done some of those hills a few weeks ago so keep that in mind if your wheels are brand new,  some significant self propelling strength is needed.
It's a lovely spot and several areas are shaded well if you need a break.
I went with hubby and his dad they did two laps of the lake together whilst I did my slow roll so I didn't feel rushed.
There's quite a bit of outdoor gym equipment around the lake too which might be handy for ambulatory wheelchair users like me - I will plan to use it weekly in the coming months.
