3 Reasons I Love Aquarobics
I've always loved aquarobrics and I think it's an underrated form of exercise. It can be truly gruelling with the right instructor and mindset. Our local outdoor aquatic centre has opened for the season and so today hubby and I both went to the morning aquarobics class and joined the fun. It was hard work for sure with a terrific instructor!
The class is three days a week, so we should be able to go every week at least once a week once I get the all clear for activity again after my upcoming foot surgery.
There are 3 reasons I love aquarobrics:
- It allows me to get a great cardio workout without overheating
- It's easy on the joints, hips and back
- It's a complete whole body strength training workout
The key is to find an instructor that teaches it to all levels. Often there are lots of significantly older people in the classes and if the instructor only teaches to their fitness level it can be too easy for younger fitter people, so find an instructor that caters to various needs within one class.
