Yoga by the Water
Outdoor yoga is one my favourite ways to spend a 'rest day' when my muscles are sore from other exercise. Today my upper body is sore and I'm tired after my 2km self propelled wheelchair hike yesterday. My injured foot/ankle feels slightly better after a week of rest from weight bearing. So I went to Erskine and found a great spot on the foreshore for yoga.
The dappled sunlight under this tree was perfect.
So I set up my mat and did 30+mins of yoga practice.
My foot did hurt with some of the standing poses, so I'll ease off on those for a while and focus on seated, kneeling, prone and supine poses.
