Sunshine Therapy
Hubby and I are still not feeling 100%. We've been fighting off some viral crud for over a week.
He's tired and functioning in a bit of a brain fog and I'm migrainal, bloated, my glands are swollen and sore etc.
But despite feeling under the weather, we went to Wells Park and did 30 mins of yoga in the dappled sunshine under a small tree at lunchtime.
I do feel a little better, it's not a magical cure but it's exposure to fresh air and sunshine and gives me a sense that we've done something kind to our bodies despite feeling awful.
We also walked the dogs for 30 mins.
I truly hope to start feeling better soon! But in the mean time I'll focus on 3 things:
- Drinking plenty of fluids
- Light exercise daily - yoga and/or walking
- Rest - my body needs that down time
Hubby retires on Thursday! We had so many plans for Friday his first day of actual retirement. But it'll likely be less energetic than we planned! We have the rest of our lives to enjoy our new freedom.
