4 Reasons Golf is Good for your Health

Today hubby and I squeezed in a quick 9 holes of golf late in the day.  

Golf is a terrific pastime but it's also a healthy sport/outdoor recreation activity. Here are 4 reasons golf is healthy:

  • Time to soak up sunshine and get your dose of vitamin D
  • Lots of walking is done even if you use an electric cart 
  • Enjoying the company of your golfing companions can improve your mood
  • Swinging the club uses many muscles in unique ways
We really enjoyed the game and are loving our new golf club.  It's only our second round here since moving to Rockingham earlier this year.  The course is very different to what we were used to in Colorado which is a nice change. 
The kangaroos who call the course home are delightful.  
We're planning to play one game a week (weather permitting) once hubby retires in a few weeks time.
