Walking For Fitness

Walking is often an underrated exercise! It's fabulous for your health and wellness because it incorporates these 3 things:
  1. Movement
  2. Sunshine (vitamin D and mood enhancement)
  3. Fresh air
Your walk can also incorporate companionship/friendship if you walk with someone!
Today hubby and I hiked up Mount Brown,  it's only a 2km round trip but it's a climb to a fabulous viewpoint.  
It's a coastal wetland nature reserve. 
The viewpoint offers 360' views. 
The flora is fabulous,  like this banksia flower:
And many other varieties of native Australian plants.  
The sky and ccean were soooo blue today, such a lovely backdrop for photos.  
We'll go back another day and walk around Mt Brown Lake too.
