Sullivan's Rock to Mt Vincent Hike
This hike has been on our bucket list for a while but I've been waiting for my injured foot/ankle to recover enough for rugged trails. Today I strapped it well and headed out to the trail head ready to climb!
219 metres elevation gain is 730 feet. So it was a steep trail but the views were worth the climb.
This is in Monadnocks Conservation Park. But the views extended way beyond that!
Sullivan Rock was fascinating. A large granite rock with moss and rock pools.
The higher we hiked the better the views got!
We took a break and sat down to admire the views on the second granite plateau.
It's truly a spectacular hike in fabulous Aussie bush. There were so many flowering plants too which surprised us this time of year.
