Scoping Out Launch Points for Spring
It was a rainy afternoon here but we headed off to explore a few areas of the Peel Inlet in Mandurah. We did a few lovely walks and scoped out some potential kayak launch points for Spring.
There's lots of protected wetlands in that area which is fabulous. There's tons of birds, we saw Pelicans, black swans and terns.
We walked in 3 separate locations between rain showers. Walking about 5km in total. All areas had fabulous views of the inlet.
The boardwalk led to this viewing platform overlooking Creery Island
Our longest walk was 2km around this lake at South Yunderup:
We stumbled upon one of Thomas Dambo's trolls in Coodanup:
And we had a fabulous lunch at Jetty's Bar and Grill in South Yunderup:
There were lots of breaks in the wet weather thankfully!
We found lots of great kayak launch points.
Peel Inlet is such a fabulous aquatic playground for recreation! We truly love Western Australia with all our hearts.
