Golf in Rockingham
We arrived in Perth six months ago this week!
We must've seen 100+ kangaroos whilst playing 9 holes of golf!
They don't even flinch when the balls go past them!
We stopped in at the club house and shared a lovely beer before heading home.
There's a large patio overlooking the 18th hole and the driving range.
Today we finally played our first round of golf since repatriation.
The golf course is only about 100 metres from our house, but at first we were busy unpacking and setting up our new life, then we had a bitterly cold and wet start to winter that had kept us away. But today was fine and sunny!
We were hoping to see some members of the local kangaroo mob out and about and we weren't disappointed
The course was very green after all the rain lately. I'm guessing the kangaroos enjoy eating all that well maintained lawn.
