Bit off a little too much!

Today was quite an adventure!

If I'm honest I bit off a little more than I can comfortably chew on this epic ride.

We mountain biked in the Leschenault Peninsula Conservation Park.

It was a nice mix of forest...

And estuary/beachside riding!

It was harder than anticipated!

That elevation gain was a surprise! 286m (950+feet)

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Peninsula. 

And made it all the way to the "cut"

Which was spectacular!

3km of the total 30km distance was actually intermittent walking due to deep,  boggy sand.
