Between the Rain Showers

It's been raining here on and off for a couple of weeks! More on than off actually! Today we decided to go for a scenic drive to make the most of our rainy weekend. Fortunately along the way we got a break in the weather and did a lovely bush walk in Jarrah forests of the Ferguson Valley. 

It was a lovely walk, probably only about a kilometer but it felt wonderful to be in the damp, fresh forest air.

There was so much amazing leaf litter and tons of gum nuts from the eucalyptus trees.

We also did a short walk to the Wellington Dam wall to see the mega mural:

Which was fabulous!

So 39 mins walking isn't too bad and we got a nice break in the weather each time thankfully.
