Slow Recovery
I'm battling probable tendon damage in my left foot, it is week 7 and I am back in the medical boot because it has flared up again. So although I am keeping busy and active, I am not doing traditional 'workouts' right now.
The recovery plan:
- Gentle Yoga (nothing that increases load on that foot)
- Walking (with boot for the next few weeks)
- Avoid walking on the beach - unstable sand is a no-no right now)
- Increase time sitting in every day life
- Strength training (Feet up Inversion, body weight exercises)
Right now our home gym is still not fully set-up as the flooring was replaced last week and they didn't have enough of the scotia trim to finish the job. So once that is fully complete I can't wait to finally have a space again especially for working out and meditating.
