Fitness Goals for 2023

Have you set health and fitness goals for 2023?

Remember goals should be:

  • Specific - not vague like "get healthier" "exercise more"
  • Realistic/attainable
  • Measurable (how will you know you achieved the goal)
I'm planning to set more specific goals once we're settled in our new house in Perth (February). But so far my plan is to start cycling within two weeks of the shipping container delivering our stuff. That's it for now, unpacking and setting up our new life will make specific goal setting difficult until we are settled. Keep in mind that setting unrealistic goals is totally pointless. That's why I'm being flexible until February!

Invest in You in 2023

Another thing to consider is how can you invest in a healthier you? It's not about spending money on fitness equipment and gym memberships necessarily.
Sometimes the only investment needed is time!!
I'm considering buying a Pilates Ladder Barrel in 2023:
But like everything else it'll have to wait until we're settled. I think it'll complement my Feet Up trainer perfectly and I could easily incorporate it into my regular yoga routine. Here's a YouTube video that shows some of the stuff they can be used for:
We may even build our own because these are hard to get in Western Australia and the  interstate shipping would make it $3000+ which is crazy.
I found this tutorial blog post:
