Slowly and Carefully
I hurt my back New Years Eve 😰 I didn't do anything specific I just woke sore and it got worse as the morning went on. So after 4 days resting in my back brace it was nice to finally get in some very gentle exercise today: 15 mins gentle yoga, 20 mins indoor cycling and 40 min dog walk.
Fabulous sunny weather between snow storms!This time of year I'm thankful for my cycle trainer!
It's such a great workout!
I stuck to gentle poses today during my stretchy yoga session:And I meditated for a while too. I was surprised I could do my usual seated meditation pose with both legs and it didn't strain my slightly sore lumbar/thoracic spine at all.
Hopefully tomorrow is even better!
