2021 Reflection
2021 was another quiet-ish pandemic year for us with almost no travels (hubby had one business trip to Peru). I am reflecting on a mostly positive year, especially the latter part of 2021, I find myself a calmer, happier version of me than I've been in a long time, content not only with who I am but where I'm living, who I'm spending time with and how I spend that time. I'm actually less homesick and happy to "wait it out" as this pandemic lingers separating is from beloved family. I was diagnosed with a hypermobility spectrum disorder that answers years of medical questions and helps me plan and care for this body as I age.
I enjoyed some great pastimes this year that boost my mental health and keep me physically healthy:
- Walking
- Feet Up inversion
- Yoga
- hiking
- cycling/MTB
- meditation
- ran a 5k (& regular trail running)
- kayaking
I've been sticking to my health and fitness goals almost religiously since October 2020! That means healthy habits are a part of my daily routine now ❤️👌
Tomorrow on the blog I share 4 tips for setting your 2022 health and fitness goals!
Bring on 2022 we got this!
