Read & Stretch

I read after my yoga asana practice every day for up to 30 mins. I use this time to deepen the stretch into some muscles/joints, I think of it as a relaxing Yin style yoga time.

Like reading for several minutes in a Sphinx/Frog hybrid pose which is a great hip opener

I also do some reading in half lotus pose (swapping legs halfway through to ensure balanced stretching)

So remember yoga does not have to be active! Passive stretches can help develop flexibility in your joints.
