Half Moon Pose Modifications

I recently added Half Moon Pose to my regular yoga repertoire. So I spent some time today figuring out how to make this pose work for my body.
I struggled initially but eventually made it work!

Tips:

I use 2 yoga blocks under my lower hand

I used the design on my mat to align and place the yoga blocks and my standing foot, this will make it easier next time!

I don't look up until all other body parts are in place. My gaze was towards the camera as I entered the pose and ensured my leg was horizontal to the ground.

Here's my process:

Step one place the lower hand on the yoga blocks

Step two raise the other arm and open the chest

Step three slowly raise the non-standing leg to horizontal and flex the foot

Step four adjust the gaze point to look up towards the raised hand

I still need to work on flexing the raised foot and opening the chest more but overall I'm happy with this as a starting point.

I did an hour of yoga practice today including 7 mins Feet Up inversion practice:

Timelapse always makes it look so easy LOL!
I also meditated for 30+minutes. I'll share some FREE meditation mp3s in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
