Then verses now!
A friend suggested I do some side by side comparisons to show my progress with yoga poses since I started yoga teacher training in March. I thought it was a great idea!
Goddess pose: I can now get my thighs horizontal to the floor! That was a pipe dream six months ago!
It was great to actually SEE this progress!
I did an hour of yoga this afternoon, I even tried something new - Garland pose with toe balance variation (it needs practice but was a great start)
I can't believe I used to hate pyramid pose! I'm finally fairly comfortable in this pose for about 10 seconds at a time.
My back bends have come a looong way too, I'll share a side by side comparison of this arch back pose next week:
I'm incorporating several pigeon pose variations in my practice now including this one:
Lizard pose is still a favorite:
I love any wide legged forward fold variation:
I'll share a side by side comparison of this one soon too:
Today the sun shone brightly eventually so I did a 40 min walk with my dogs at lunchtime:
Much nicer than yesterday's walk in the rain/snow mix 😂
