Shin Splints

I think I may have shin splints from my 5km fun run on the weekend. My body wasn't used to the distance (usually I do 1.5 to 3km runs) or the concrete (usually I trail run on dirt)

So my lower legs have been really sore. 

Yoga is great for this recovery time, especially my Feet Up inversion training:

I also did 20 mins of standing yoga poses:

And a 20 min dog walk. It's only 40*f outside so 20 mins was enough!

I also practiced my meditation for 10+ mins:
