5k Fun Run

Next Saturday October 9th hubby and I are participating in a fun run to benefit the teen families at Florence Crittenton High School which is a high school for teen mom's here in Denver! 

I've volunteered for this organization for about 5 years on and off it's a fantastic cause.

So today we checked out Huston Lake which is the location of the fun run.

We did two laps.

I loved these decorated sections of the concrete!

The event next weekend starts at the Flocrit campus and includes two laps of the lake before returning to the campus for the finish line.

There is some shade around the lake which makes it quite pleasant for running.
