Kayaking Brush Hollow

Today we took the kayaks to Brush Hollow Reservoir:

It's a great little reservoir near Canon City, Colorado.

We also had some great pastries on the way at Marigold in Colorado Springs:

And a great craft beer on the way home:

This reservoir was surprisingly fabulous despite it's seemingly arid surroundings!

It's bigger than it looks.

And quite picturesque once you get out of the shallows and begin to see the mountains around you.

I'm so pleased we choose this destination today!
