Cardio Yoga Fusion HIIT
Today I wanted a quick workout that incorporated some basic cardio and some yoga so I grabbed my jump rope and went outside onto the deck.
I decided to do ten skips then a yoga pose, then five to ten stationary breaths to reduce my heart rate.10 skips
Tree pose (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Triangle pose (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Pyramid pose (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Standing front leg lift (straight leg & both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Standing half moon pose (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Swaying palms (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Standing figure four fold (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Chair pose
Rest
10 skips
Standing bind hands stretch (both sides) image shows kneeling but this can be done in a standing position also

Standing forward fold with twist (both sides)
Rest
10 skips
Goddess
Rest
10 skips
Warrior 3 (both sides)
Workout complete!
But it doesn't matter what yoga poses are incorporated it's a great way to workout!
NOTE: I keep it to 10 skips because I don't want my beginner skipping form to fatigue and end up twisting my ankle, but obviously as I gain fitness I could do 15 or 20 skips each time.
