Colorado's Best Short Hike

Today is the 2021 public holiday for the July 4th weekend so we went hiking in North Cheyenne Canyon:

This hike is in the Colorado Springs region.

It was a warm day but we chose this short, steep hike because it takes less than an hour. Mt Cutler trail is less than 2 miles return and by far our favorite short hike in Colorado.

This has been our favorite short hike for about 8 years, we've done it many times in many weather conditions, today was the greenest I've ever seen this trail. 

It's less than a mile hike to the top of Mt Cutler and you are rewarded with beautiful panoramic mountain views.

We really enjoyed the hike.

On the way home we stopped for beer and Aussie meat pies at a brewery in the Black Forest:
