So much mud!

 We finally took out our kayaks for the first time! 

We bought Oru Kayaks earlier this year and have been waiting for the right weather!

The weather today was fabulous.

We paddled all around Rueter Hess reservoir.

Whilst the photos look great we probably won't go back to that reservoir the kayak launch point was knee deep mud which made launch more difficult than necessary. And we had to carry the kayaks too far from the parking lot. 

So our first outing was a mixed bag but we'll try again sometime soon at a different lake.
