Infuriating Incompetence!
Last week on Wednesday hubby and I got our first dose of the Pfizer covid vaccine. Yay! Right, exciting times!
Then the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment closed the clinic citing irregularities in storage. We found out Friday when we woke up to this email:
We've been patiently waiting for the investigation to determine whether we must restart our vaccine series. During that time I've been really unwell through Saturday, Sunday and Monday thanks to the vaccine side effects (aching joints, hot/cold, fatigue etc.). So I'm pretty angry this morning to find out that I have to go through that two more times in the coming weeks!
And we can't restart the protocol until three weeks after the non-viable dose! So it'll now be almost 6 more weeks before we are fully vaccinated.
Frustrated with the lack of oversight by CDPHE that allowed this clinic to function 9 days and waste 7000 covid doses!
