5 Body Care Basics
I'm a big believer in keeping things simple! Life in the 21st century is complicated enough!
So apart from my exercise regimen, these five things are also important ways I care for my body:
Moisturize - especially here in Colorado with our dry mountain air! I love Lubriderm and it's available in any pharmacy 👌
Hydrate - it's truly hard to drink enough water but I'm always trying! I ensure I have a water bottle available in every room that I expect to spend significant time in each day (office, sewing studio, yoga studio, living room)
Stretch - the older we get the less nimble we feel! Stretching can help combat that! I enjoy Yin yoga and Subtle yoga.
Down time - read, meditate, a quiet walk alone, TV, etc. I'm meditating a lot lately and it's great recharge time.
Meal prep - there's nearly always containers full of pre-chopped vegetables in my fridge so I can easily steam them at dinner time. Nothing complicated, but why cut one nights worth of veggies when I can do several at a time.
