Easy Does It!

After illness it's important to ease back into your full fitness regimen especially for those of us with chronic health issues.

I've had a nasty migraine the last two days. I took a night time cold and flu tablet before bed last night to really knock me out for a much needed rest. I did wake up feeling a lot better but definitely not 100%

So I rested all morning watching Netflix whilst knitting. Then I did 11 mins of inversions on my Feet Up trainer and 20mins cycling. I definitely took it easy whilst cycling and was in mostly the orange heart rate zone rather than my usual red:

I didn't do any strength training today apart from the Feet Up inversions. So it was a somewhat limited workout to ensure I didn't overdo it.

It's okay to give your body much needed down time! Just be sure you get back up eventually.
