Curvy Strong Fit

My body cycles up mountain passes, hikes up mountains and takes on a multitude of personal fitness challenges every year. Yet I don't fit the societal ideal for a healthy woman.
I'm done with believing the societal crap!

- This body birthed 3 children

- This body endures daily pain from chronic migraine and scalp nerve pain

- This body survived a nearly fatal pulmonary embolism

During my life I've had people say "you're not breathing right" "you need to breathe better" and a multitude of other similar things when they compare my version of fitness with their own. In my mid forties I was diagnosed with Tracheobronchomalacia!

A lifetime of people comparing my body to theirs assumed my body had the ability to breathe better and that I was somehow at fault. You don't always know what your body is hiding! Mine was hiding an airway that was not "normal" but it is normal for me!

In 2021 I'm completing an exercise journal to log my daily exercise, so I decided to share that on this blog to inspire others who are unconventionally fit to accept their body, it's limitations and it's strength.
