Subjectiveness of 'Healthy'

Healthy is a subjective concept, what one person might consider a healthy habit may actually be a risky  habit for others if they obsess about it or if it doesn't suit their individual circumstances and/or needs.
So I have a new philosophy:
No matter how much you research something, no matter why you do it that doesn't mean it's the right choice for other people.

Some examples of modern trends I hate:

  • Food tracking (it has a place in the very short term, but beyond the short term it becomes toxic diet culture)
  • One size fits all fitness recommendations. I don't care if you lift, cycle, hike, swim etc. Do what works for you! Just make being active a lifestyle in your own way
  • Side by side size comparisons showing weight loss
  • Extremely high protein diets
There's plenty more but consider what examples irritate you. The people you surround yourself with influence your life. Be sure the people around you support your goals not just want you to mirror their own.
