Nothing Beats a Brisk Walk

Exercise takes so many forms but a brisk walk is a fundamental activity to have in your repertoire of exercise types! It can get you into the aerobic workout heart rate range whilst you enjoy the outdoors.  

Today hubby and I walked around Yangebup Lake:

The weather was amazing! We walked reasonably quickly and worked up a light sweat with the sun shining bright.  
It was a fabulous way to get in a workout!
The lake is a wetland area; home to 100 bird species. I even saw a Quenda (which is a Western Brown Bandicoot). He hopped across the path in front of us.  Very cute!
It's a lovely place. 
The asphalt path ensures a smooth walk surface and the lake is visible from a few viewpoints like this bird hide.
