Reevaluation of Goals and Routines

Often people struggle with achieving health and fitness goals. But if that happens ask yourself a few questions:

  1. Am I expecting too much from myself? (perhaps start with smaller goals & less time commitment)
  2. Am I making my fitness regimen too difficult and therefore unapproachable? (Ease back try something easier like walking)
  3. Does my planned time of day work for me?
  4. What can I do today?
Once you've analysed the reason behind your fitness regimen and goals seeming unattainable, you can begin to plan new, more relevant goals.

Example: time change

Yesterday I went for a long walk with my dogs first thing in the morning. I used to work out in the afternoons but ATM I work three afternoons a week so mornings are a better option.

You need to find a system that works for you in a practical sense. That means it suits your physical needs & available time.
Your motivation is derived from success at goals, so start small and work your way up. Do this as often as you need to! Hitting reset isn't failure, it's adaptation.
