And then the drama...

If you read yesterday's post you'll have seen a scathing review I wrote about the selection process involved in program participation for a  Colorado organization that markets itself as an organization that helps beginning runners. 
OMG they didn't seem to like that review!
Well damn... I'm sorry I didn't realize the board of directors feelings were more important than mine! 
The day ended with me social media unfriending a woman who I had considered a friend for several years. 
Why did I do that? 
Because she is connected with the organization as a former participant and went on the attack in text messages accusing me of defamation. 
So let me state this very clearly:
If she's not on the selection committee (she confirmed during her text rants) then she had no right to know details of my selection or rejection from their program. So let's be clear about what that means: 
They disclosed private details of their selection process with her
This only intensifies my feelings that these people have NO RIGHT to ask for the level of detail they ask for in their application process and I wouldn't trust them with that information ever again. Like any review you can read it and make your own informed decision about whether this organization is worth your time.
